These standard rail kits mount to the bottom of the round aluminum (T) handguard of your M-15(T) and AR-10(T) rifle. These kits allow you to mount a bipod, light, or any other attachment that utilizes the MIL-STD 1913 rail system. Standard 5? kit will mount to the bottom of the handguard, the 3? and 5? kits will mount on any slot except for the bottom of the handguard.
