The Armalite GI-pattern AR-308 carbine receiver extension is MIL-SPEC buffer tube done correctly for the AR-308 platform. The extended 8"" buffer tube allows the use of the full array of standard 3.25"" carbine buffers with your AR-308. This gives the user full control to perfectly balance their gas system without resorting to specialty shorty buffers typically found in large frame ARs.
