Accuracy International

In Brief: Accuracy International (AI) Ltd. was formed in 1978 by two times Olympic Gold Medallist, the late Malcolm Cooper MBE, Sarah Cooper, Martin Kay and the designers of the weapons, Dave Walls and Dave Caig. All were international or national target shooters.

The original designs incorporated performance enhancing features learned in Olympic and international target shooting onto a rifle platform exhibiting full military ruggedness. This unique package ensured that the weapons were optimised for the function they must perform, something that cannot be achieved with a ruggedized sporting weapon.

Accuracy International is based on the principles of world class manufacturing, teamwork, mutual respect and trust with the objective of maintaining our reputation as producers of the “Best Sniper Rifle in the World”.

AX

 

 

 

Based on the DNA of the battle proven AW series, the advanced new generation AX338 bolt action rifle inherits all the toughness, reliability, superb accuracy and ease of maintenance of its celebrated predecessor. The AX rifle’s Magnum action retains the same flat-bottomed design, but is longer (CIP/SAAMI) and wider to facilitate a compact and reliable double stack 10 round magazine.

Features include a new improved external stock design, available with either pistol or thumbhole grip, and a versatile for end rail system for fitting a variety of optical, ranging, support and carrying accessories.

AW

The Proprietary high grade steel flat bottom action that is permanently bonded and bolted to the full-length aluminium chassis is superior to the standard bedding interface between actions and stocks traditionally used.
 The rigid construction coupled with a full-width machined in recoil lug totally eliminates movement and ensures that zero will be maintained in arduous conditions. The AW Sniper Rifle can be supplied in a variety of standard configurations.
 With every component manufactured from corrosion resistant material or given a protective finish prior to assembly, an AW rifle will perform reliably and consistently whether used for marine operations, in the desert or the arctic.
 A barrel can be replaced in minutes using the optional barrel change kit and maintenance can be completed in the field by an armourer trained to normal levels.
 All major parts are interchangeable between rifles of the same calibre.

AE

Accuracy International introduced the Model AE in 2001 at the request of the law enforcement community.
 After 7 years we have updated this model and created the AE MKII.
 
The new AE MK III introduces the following key enhancements:
 •AICS 5 round and 10 round magazines
 •Trigger group is removable for maintenance without
 disassembling action from chassis system
 •Standard adjustable cheek piece
 •20 inch barrel with optional standard or tactical muzzle brake
 •Optional folding chassis

AICS Stocks

 Remington 700 users can benefit from many of the advanced ergonomic and fictional benefits of the AI rifle System, A far superior chassis system with full-length aluminum self-aligning, self-bedding vee block compared to traditionally bedded interfaces between actions and stocks. There are 2 different styles to choose from.

AX

The AX Chassis System is based from the design of the new AX Sniper rifle system. These stocks come standard with the following features:
-Adjustable Cheek Piece
-Pistol Grip Stock
-1x 5rd Magazine

A number of optional features are available for them including:
-Colour: Black, OD green or FDE
-Stock: Fixed or Folding
-Sling attachments: Flush cups or AI Sling Attachments
-Available in Short and Long Actions (Long actions available in 300WM or CIP Spec .338LM)
 Short Actions come with a 5rd .308 mag
 Long Actions come with a 5rd .300WM or (CIP/SAAMI) .338LM mag
-Action scope rail
-For end rail (when used with AI action rail, gives you a monolithic rail for night vision)
 

AW

The AW Chassis System is based from the design of the AW (Arctic Warfare) Sniper rifle system.  These stocks come standard with the following features:
-Adjustable Cheek Piece
-Thumbhole Stock
-1x 5rd Magazine

Optional features available for these stocks are:
-Colour: Black, OD green or FDE
-Stock: Fixed or Folding
-Available in Short and Long Action (Long Actions available in 300WM or 338LM
 -Short Actions come with a 5rd .308 mag
 -Long Actions come with a 5 rd .300 WM or .338LM
