Online Ordering FAQ
Maybe it’s just me but I feel like I get asked the same questions over and over about how to order online. Here are the answers to the questions I get asked the most.
What do I need to order online?
When ordering accessories and parts we require your name address, phone number, email address and method of payment. All of your other details are only stored on our web server if you create an account. This allows for easier check out on future orders.
When ordering ammunition, as well as the above information we also require your PAL number and date of birth. This allows us to validate that your PAL is active. Ammunition must be shipped by courier; a physical street address is required (No PO boxes). Please note that firearms and ammunition cannot be shipped together.
When ordering non-restricted firearms we require your name, address, phone number, PAL number date of birth, place of birth and method of payment.
When ordering restricted firearms we require your name, address, phone number, PAL number, date of birth, place of birth, name of your gun club (if you are a collector please enter collector in this space) and method of payment.
Note on firearms purchase: for security reasons we will only ship restricted firearms to the address that is on file with the CFC.
What method of payments do you accept?
We accept VISA, Master Card and American Express for online orders. We do accept Money Order, EMT or Certified Cheque but please contact us by phone or email first.
Where do you ship?
We ship all across Canada. Due to international export and import regulations we cannot accept international orders online. Please contact us for details.
Do you store personal information online?
If you checkout as a guest no personal information is stored on our server. If you create an account the only information that is stored is your name, address and phone number. This way you will not have to fill out the same fields every time you order. PAL numbers, gun club information, dates of birth, place of birth and credit card information is not saved on our web servers, this information is required to be entered every time.
Once I place my order how long will it take to receive?
We endeavor to process and ship all orders within 1-3 business days of placing your order. Transit times will vary with the level of service selected at check out. Please note that for all restricted firearms orders we are required to wait for the approval of your provincial CFO before shipping. Transit times will vary depending on the method of shipping selected and your location.
Will I receive a tracking number with my order?
Yes, we endeavor to send tracking numbers with every order via E-mail. These tracking numbers are generated by the parcel delivery service selected. They are sent through an automated system and may be caught by spam filters. If you have not received your tracking number please check your junk mail folder.
How do I know if my order was accepted?
Upon successful check out an automatically generated email is sent with a copy of the sales receipt. Please insure that all email address is entered correctly. A second email with the tracking number will be sent once your order has been shipped.
What happens if there is a problem with my order?
If there is any problem with your order you will be contacted by email.
How do I know if what I want is in stock?
Our website is connected to our inventory system and is updated every 3 minutes. If you can add it to your cart it is in stock. Please note that the inventory in your cart is checked with every step of the check out process. Items are not taken out of stock until you have completed the check out process.
I am a member of the Military or LE, how do I get my 5% discount online?
In the special instructions box at the end of the checkout session you need to indicate that you are a serving LE or military member, we will contact you for verification if we do not already have this information on file.
